A perfectly nice winter day

Welcome to Learn the Flowers CSA!  Today, I spent the afternoon weeding beds of ranunculus and anemone at the farm while it lightly snowed and sleeted outside the greenhouse.  This winter, so far, has been beautifully mild in comparison to last winter and the ranunculus and I are quite pleased.  I will be starting sweetpea flower seeds soon and watching them grow under lights over the next couple of months.  Then it will be time to welcome spring with open arms and the world will burst with color again.  I look forward to making beautiful bouquets for all my lovely members when the summer rolls around.  In the mean time, I will keep you up to date on the goings-on of the farm and my seedlings via Instagram under the name: learntheflower. Happy February!
